Five Good Things Today

1. Pasta salad for supper with cherry tomatoes, green grapes, basil, feta, balsamic vinaigrette.
2. Searching for late peas on my pea vines.
3. Getting the last of my stitches out and being told that I can take Ibuprofen instead of Lortab.
4. Watching Si iron, shirtless. I'll bet most guys don't know it, but that's sexy.
5. Kissing my favorite spot on Sara's damp, salty forehead.

What were five little things that made you happy today? Contribute your list.

1) Discovering my 13-year-old son is still not ashamed to give me a hug and kiss in public, surrounded by his peers.

2) Getting the last country ham biscuit at the country store.

3) Arriving back home this morning to discover my coffee pot was still on AND I still had 2 cups of hot, strong coffee waiting to be enjoyed with the aforementioned ham biscuit.

4) Realizing I still had plenty of time to take a nap, read a book or do some writing before I had to get ready for work tonight.

5) Discovering an email from my boss listing names of people interested in coming to a class next week that we thought we'd have to cancel because of lack of interest.

And it's still early! :-D

Actually these are from Thursday. Friday was pretty boring. I could come up with 5 things, but Thursday was better.

1) Having a mocha joe from Burger King in the morning.

2) Getting a 67 percent on my Physics exam (B-C with the curve).

3) Hanging out at the playground with my friend Lynn and the kids.

4) Having 52 minutes all alone with Ron.

5) Going to see the new Harry Potter movie.

By the way, HAPPY BIRTHDAY KATIE!!!
