That is the number of Americans who died last year of the plain-old, seasonal flu. If another person tells me that I should beware an ugly death because I regularly share germs with Mexicans, I am going to get annoyed.
We have a guy at work who is super-excited about the whole thing, exclaming how this could be "the next Spanish flu". He's also right in there with the fear-mongers who are convinced this was brought in the the "illegals". I could swear by his excitement that he is actually hoping this flu wipes out a good chunk of the population. He probably thinks it'll target the "riff raff". Crazy.
Amen, sister! I wish I would have gone to the rally yesterday. I would have french kissed a Hispanic Man in front of those crazy, maskwearing Minutemen.
