This is one of my favorite wallpapers. I always love it when late September rolls around and this desktop background goes up. It makes me wonder what's at the end of that lane. The spookiness of Halloween, and the anticipation of Thanksgiving conspire to create an enchanting mystery and that photo captures it perfectly for me. I often imagine walking down that very lane, what would I be carrying, where would I have gone, where would I be going? It makes me think of Robert Frost poems, strong frothy ales, and hiking through fall-painted landscapes.

What a beautiful picture. Autumn is a very pretty season.
Autumn is such a beautiful time of year. I love going to Central park in late October to take pictures of the foliage.
It's always been my favorite time of year!
I wish it was my back yard too. It is still Indian summer here in Nebraska.
Yes it is beautiful and you're not kidding. I wish THAT were my back yard. It's still hot here, but just turned rainy and cold this weekend!
LOL I just about believed you and wanted to drool in envy!
It's been in the 80's again this week in VA. Where the HELL is my lovely autumn?
that picture definitely invokes a desire for a nice stroll with a picnic basket full of food!
I wish it were my back yard too. I hope you have been well. Reading I see. May you enjoy a weekend, just imagine being here.
